Luc-Normand Tellier

Titulaire d’un doctorat en science régionale de l’Université de Pennsylvanie, Luc-Normand Tellier a fondé et dirigé pendant treize ans le Département d’études urbaines et touristiques de l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Il est vice-président de l’Association pour la promotion de l’enseignement et de la recherche en aménagement et en urbanisme (APERAU-internationale) et président de l’APERAU Amériques. Spécialisé en économie spatiale, il a publié des articles et des livres dans ce domaine, mais aussi en évaluation des projets publics, en histoire et en analyse politique.

Luc-Normand Tellier obtained a Ph.D. in Regional Science from the University of ­Pennsylvania in 1973. He founded the Department of Urban ­Studies and Tourism of the University of Quebec at Montreal in 1976. He is the author of numerous books, and has published in international journals such as the Journal of Regional Science, the Papers of Regional Science, ­Geographical ­Analysis, and Environment and Planning A.
