About us

Presses de l’Université du Québec (PUQ) was created subsequent to major developments associated with implementation of Quebec’s university education network. Serving the university community since 1969, we have supported many authors, researchers and professors in publishing their research work, as well as educational material developed for university and college students. Whether through our distribution network or joint publishing initiatives, we have a presence in Quebec and also abroad, to ensure availability of our resources.

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the PUQ is planning several major projects highlighting the milestones in its proud history:
- An anniversary magazine
- Videos highlighting the research published at the PUQ
- And more!
